An eye for an eye, and ...

A tooth! A tooth! Clearly visible and razor-sharp. Sorry, but photographing a baby's tooth is like trying to bath a cat, so you'll just have to believe me.
And just to confound us, after nights of behaving like an unsettled newborn, last night she went straight down and slept 11 hours without so much as a whimper.

Rachel, it's great to read your stories. Only just read the Jan one with the eczema. Have you considered it could be a food reaction? Both David and Sonya have (had) ezcema from dairy products. David has now finally outgrown it, although we still haven't tried actual milk but he is fine now with yoghurt and cheese. Sonya gets soya products and is doing well on those. It is very common for kids to get a (skin) reaction to dairy and the majority outgrows it. It is quite easy to 'test', take out the dairy (yours too if you're still feeding her) for about two weeks and see if the ezcema clears up. Email or call me if you want to know more.
take care, love, Marion

Thanks Marion, the cow's milk element of the supplementary formula bottle she gets is certainly the main suspect - tho the reaction is rather late if that's the case. I won't be introducing any dairy products during weaning, and have also switched to a super ecological non-perfumed laundry liquid. Eczema is under control, but she's still scratching when given the chance, poor mite.
