Well I woke up this morning ...

Several times, actually. On the third occasion I staggered as far as the window to find that Chorlton's streets were covered with snow that looked just like an inexpert sprinkling of icing sugar. Undeterred I wrapped us both up warmly and set off for the Monday mums n tots group, only to find it had been cancelled. Time to find a quiet coffee instead, then. Toss up between two adjacent cafes, and which do I pick? The one full of chattering mums and squealing babes from the cancelled group.

Close encounters of the furred kind

Pardon my post-natal brain, but it's only just occurred to me that I could post MOVING images of Katy here. This thought struck me only a month after it also occurred to me I could make little videos in the first place using my trusty phone. Sigh ... and I have to start work again in June, how ever will I persuade people I can still think straight? This mini-epic features Katy playing with what used to be a cat toy - formerly property of Tsi-Tsa - who doesn't seem to quite agree with this redistribution of wealth!

As if in answer to David's question (see comment on Brahms below) Kate is seen here enthusiastically performing her latest trick, rolling onto her right side with great energy and looking very pleased with herself. Tho good news for her development it means our lives just got a little more difficult! She's also managed to grab hold of the purple elephant hanging above her. With hand-eye co-ordination like that she'll be wanting an x-box before we know it.
